Calling All Scrapbookers!

We’re excited to announce that Dr. Burns will be joining instructor Georgia Hauglid at Scrapology, a scrapbook and paper crafts store located at Williams Field and Lindsay in Gilbert, for a special scrapbooking class on August 9th.  “Lessons Learned from Dogs” is a 2 1/2 hour class beginning at 10:30 am; participants will create a 12 page album celebrating the life of a dog (or dogs, who can have just one?).

Dr. Burns will not only be cropping, embellishing, journaling, and otherwise creating alongside other participants, she’ll also be sharing dog stories and answering questions related to pet health and other aspects of dog care in a social setting.  Although the focus of the class is dogs, you can rest assured that she is always willing to talk about cats as well.

We’re thrilled to have an opportunity to work closely with another local small business.  Audrey and Diane at Scrapology have been very supportive of this idea, and we are eager to introduce our clients with an interest in scrapping and other paper crafts to their store.  Scrapology’s client service philosophy is very similar to our own, and we think you’ll be quite impressed with the level of customer care they provide.

This is a truly unique opportunity for you to watch Dr. Burns exercise the RIGHT side of her brain for a change! Registration is $30, and participants are asked to bring basic supplies such as scissors, adhesives, a paper trimmer, a black pen, and black or brown ink. Scrapology will take care of the rest, and Dr. Burns will provide special treat bags for all class members.

To register, please call Scrapology at (480) 786-4878.
